Working as a freelance Model Engineer I undertook two years each with Meccano (Dinky Toys) and Metal-Playcraft (Corgi Toys) inventing and developing new ideas patterns & prototypes including the retractable undercarriage 28 - 30 and Ackerman steering 31 & 32 for die cast models. I also spent time designing & making film props for ‘TV-Film company ‘Century 21’
