The small Guillotine is designed for cutting brass plate for the ships plating, together with small angle brass for the ships frames.  The action is of the double leaver type, with micro adjustment on all stops and fences. All moving parts are provided with brass bearings and working surfaces - the cutter is made from steel gauge plate hardened and tempered.
