The engine turned finish (swirls) are produced from art work and etching onto nickel silver .008” thick sheet.  The ribs on the 2 fire wall box fronts, are formed by first soft soldering the brass etched plates to the back of the N/S etched sheet, then pressing through the open X with a blunt tool to form the ribs on the front of the box.
